Wellness Check in.

Finish what you start. I have so many drafts saved, and i have a feeling this is also going to be a saved draft, but who knows, maybe not. We keep of hearing about self discovery, self awareness journey and presume its all about knowing thyself. Well, that is the whole idea for sure, but nobody talks of the might it takes to learn about yourself.

You start this Journey expecting that you have no flaws and that you are an easy human to be around with. Not until you start noticing some flaws that you keep on denying repeatedly. I for sure did see my self as one of the best people, straight on the first index at the gates of heaven, till i came across my worst trait.

Truth be told i am still coming to terms with it, because what the actual flaw is this? It has affected my growth and mentality in so many instances that i can only see now, I am still in denial but I’m slowly coming to terms with the repercussions. Oh my God each and every time i have a memory of some of the things i did , i get frustrated. The irony of it, all is that i could easily go back to that trait, I have to catch myself at it. A self pep talk, and maybe a coffee.

Maybe you are on this journey too, and what i will tell you is that ,Your gut, body and mind have their hints, stop trying to fight it. You already know that person or thing is not good for you, you know the solutions, but they are like a drug, you just want to experience the fire burn one more time, till you cant live without, and that is how easily you die, literally i mean.

The journey does not stop ever, but it gets easier when you get away from toxic traits, one by one. it will take a lot of Grace and Will but it has to be done, otherwise you perish. Need i say, normally we get that limiting belief that if not for this thing or person, i will not survive, well fact is you will and even prosper once you let go and let God. Do not limit yourself, come on. There is always a way, you just have to look for it.

    1. First we are all flawed, meaning we have some sort of toxicity, we just have to become aware of what exactly it is through a lot self introspection. But also deep down you just know. Also people around you can help you understand yourself better through feedback…ask! @veselin.blog
