A Tuesday high.

I really had all the intentions to do a style blog today, but time was consumed on social ‘lifing’. So I guess we are stuck at the writers column once more, where it’s raw and deep and I mean raw and deep .Don’t we all like that? Uh!

Welcome if you are new here, a safe space for me and you dear reader. So anyway, there is this one meme that I have been on my mind lately it reads “send that hey again, after all shame is just but a social construct.” I totally agree there are things that only shame can teach you. Send that text again, as a matter of fact triple text.

Back in the day, a blue tick would cause me so much anxiety till I removed them on my app completely, you should try it is totally liberating. Till lately where, I have to accept the fact that instant replies are not a must ,I myself take a few days to think about something then reply, why then should I accept an instant feedback from someone. It’s a high you should tame.

Shame is indeed a social construct, the same as Embrassment. It is one of those things that literally have no meaning nor impact whatsoever, because now you are feeling embarrassed so what? You chose to send that text, it’s a choice which at no point whatsoever should make you look back and say I wish I didn’t,no we don’t do that here. If there is one thing I learnt, before you take action, be clear and decisive, and let it be final.

If they chose not to reply or chose to talk rude ,you gracefully stay away, stay put and accept, honorably. Well, maybe I’m speaking from experience, and you are still feeling ashamed or embarrassed after doing something you wanted and made a choice to do. Here to tell you that you shall keep on feeling that shame till you choose not to. Comes with age I bet.

Nonetheless,I have to admit there is a high that comes with flowing conversations, the nastier the better. Have you smiling inside a super metro like crazy, or even standing by the roadside just to text back. You know .ugh. wholesome conversations especially at the beginning of getting to know someone, you are so eager for that notification, jumping up you’d think you won a lottery, uh.
