Voting day.

Typing this as my legs hurt from the standing I’ve done since 10 am , well, i’m staying true to course which is voting for who I want and wish to see lead. If i’m being completely honest I don’t know for sure but in the next 20 I will have decided.

On my ears is a radio station playing all sorts of musc,it’s like I’m on shuffle, bottle of water, you got to stay hydrated. I wore for cold weather but the sun is peeping and I’m getting hot. I hope to be done by latest 3 pm. I can understand why the queues are moving slow, cause If we are all not sure then it takes a bit of time at the booth.Right?

My observation is that ,no one is letting one cut the line, dare you!. It is the patience people have that is also giving me morale, There is also not a lot of banter on who and who not, which I find okay . I declared myself election observer already. Self employment. At least I can mingle with the people and get to know what is happening. Juacali but for info.

Turn out looks good for sure, but there is not alot of youths. 25 and below are countable people, leaves me wondering what is not happening, they should be the majority but that is not the case especially here in Thika,it’s a town and so alot of youths were expected.

Back home, right now as I write this at 10 pm glued and anxious a bit.Let’s be honest, today we ‘saw dust’in those ballot papers. It was like an exam. From the president, let’s not even discuss, it was like choosing between morals and needs.

The Governors choice was one for the books this time, the M.p too. Then there is Woman representative let’s be honest ladies and gents, you just didn’t pay much attention and party politics came to play. The senator too.

The MCA ,well, that had to be at least someone I have met on his/her campaigns and resonated with him. He/ she should be your local person that you believe can deliver. So here if one campaigned very well and reached alot of people he should win.

Anyway I’m loving the little banter going around , local man ‘hana maoni mengine ila’ for the newbies here at my log let’s catch up on my home page, the rest let’s meet tomorrow.
