I have practically been on self care mode for weeks now. May is usually mental health awareness month and I resonated well with it.
Emotional self care for me means indulging into my favorite books, rewatching favourite shows amazing and long conversations with my people. Basically soul soothing inexpensive things.
Other days I do hydrating face masks and steaming, long showers and putting on favourite short dress well mosturized face and lips. Cook from scratch and have an indoor picnic by myself.
I don’t know what you do for self care as long as it feeds your soul and gut with positivism you should do it much often. If you don’t,well, please atleast try doing something for you intentionally.
“Earth is hard”,that has been the latest slogan Incase you don’t know. Life is obviously never going to be fair. Sometimes we don’t even know what we are doing ,where we are headed to and so taking a weekend or even a few hours to calm down and find peace within yourself is highly recommended
It’s only fair if we treat ourselves better with much love and care that we can be able to do the same for others. I mean if you are bitter with yourself how do you expect to give a positive compliment to someone and mean it? Instead you will be envious and fearful because that is what is inside you.
Be good to yourself,then you will be good to others.
